The gate swings open, and you are instantly transported to a serene place looking as if it belongs in a travel brochure. The peaceful haven, set on two acres, is a perfect little sanctuary in the middle of San Antonio with a large swimming pool, outdoor hot water shower, organic garden and a tree house where you can while away your time with a good book or catch up on your internet connections. A full gourmet gluten-free breakfast, planned to suit your personal choices is served on the patio by the pool, under the wisteria arbor, or in your suite if you prefer.

Stroll around in the serenity of the lush bed and breakfast retreat and enjoy the flowers and plantings. Something blooms here 12 months out of the year. The chickens and peacocks roaming the premises are curious to meet you. There is a big organic garden where you are welcome to forage or visit the herbs. You may go for a dip or lounge around the pool. Just make yourself at home.

Breakfasts are planned each day to suit your personal requirements. We have experience with gluten-free, casein-free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, grain-free and diabetic menus. A typical breakfast will start with fresh squeezed orange juice and a fruit platter with a variety of fresh fruit. This might be followed by a goat cheese and dill (from the garden) omelet, (the eggs are fresh from our chickens), bacon, whole grain waffles and maple syrup.

Chicken Paradise is a small, exclusive B&B. There is one suite, and its guests have private run of the property and all that it offers. The guests also receive the undivided attention of their hosts. Your own "home away from home" accommodation will be the Paradise Suite - a detached guest suite with private entrance. It is available exclusively to you for as long as you care to stay and relax, vacation or conduct business in San Antonio. Chicken Paradise is more, much more than just a place to stay. It is a place to vacation. It is a place to relax. It is a place to recharge. It is home.
